@bobwardms @AnalyticAnna @AzureSQL Thanks Bob. Sounds like creating MI in BC tier will create secondary replicas internally (which are only LR, but not ZR) and for DR we can leverage auto FGs(in a diff region). Pls correct me if I am wrong. Below is what caused my original confusion.

#sqlhelp We have an AG( 2019+CU8/Async/No readable secondary). One of the databases in AG randomly starts piling up log send queue indefinitely till we suspend/resume data moment, respective REDO queue stays empty on secondary. Wondering if someone ran into anything like this?

Testing Ola hallengren's indexoptimize with 'resumable' and
'Timelimit' options. I see job runs fine for the first time. It obeyed time limit ,paused index rebuild, but it doesn't appear to resume from where it left off next time it runs and does nothing. Any thoughts? #sqlhelp
