@Tav_E_Fresh NY was a bad matchup even before Phee returned. During the reg season, NY won the first game and only lost the 2nd game by 5 points and that was without Fiebich
History made! 🗽
Congratulations to our @NYLiberty for knocking out the No. 1 seed and reminding the league why you should never underestimate New Yorkers.
On to the semifinals!
@ShakBe94 How has she been struggling for 2 years? Her 3pt shot took a dip towards the end of last year due to injury but otherwise she was hooping compensating for other player injuries and she started off injured this year.
@kaithorsey It’s mostly because w/ her archetype she can sub in for Pauline when she needs a break or is in foul trouble. She’s fast and has downhill pressure.
Of course Sab has a great game and everyone’s focused on her made 3s. Great that she hit them, but I’m loving her back at PG and having an all around game. Her shots come when she’s running the show.
Liberty media sucks w/ few exceptions. They know damn well Sabrina’s been & got a directive to stay quiet & spin nasty narratives. The team & players all said they’re playing for October not the regular season. Guess they could’ve been #1 but where did that leave the Lynx.
This is why I don’t respect it. Even when they win, the tone of the entire article is nasty as fuck. You can be truthful and talk about a team’s struggles without the nasty ass tone. The also constant shots at Sab even when she plays well.
“We know we’re not a traditional 8 seed. We understand once the playoffs come, it’s a new season… we have more to do.”
A roller-coaster season, but New York’s belief never left 🗽
