At eLearning Africa 2026, our team engaged in discussions on digital transformation, AI in education, TVET innovation, workforce readiness, inclusion, and the future of learning. We were also proud to contribute to these conversations, with one of our delegates @irenemkini presenting on gender-responsive digital pathways in STEM, TVET, and research, highlighting the importance of creating inclusive opportunities that enable more women and girls to participate, thrive, and lead in the digital economy.
The themes explored throughout the conference reaffirmed the work MSTCDC is already advancing, strengthening capacities, expanding access to quality learning, promoting inclusion, and equipping people with skills that respond to the needs of a rapidly changing world.
The knowledge, connections, and perspectives gained will not remain within conference halls, they will inspire new ideas, stronger partnerships, and better learning experiences for those we serve.
As the world of work evolves, MSTCDC remains committed to ensuring that no learner is left behind.
Power in unity. Strength in action.

Session Recap | Problem Solving Strategies
Fellows of the #EACYouthFellowship Cohort 3 today engaged in a session on Problem Solving Strategies led by Lusekelo Naomi Chinyama, Youth Engagement Specialist @MSTCDC.
The session pushed Fellows to go beyond surface-level thinking and unpack the root causes of challenges facing their communities and the region.
A key emphasis was on designing solutions that are not only innovative, but also sustainable and people-centeredโsolutions that speak to the realities of East Africa.
The Fellowship is organized under the YouLead Africa programme by MS TCDC in partnership with @jumuiya, @jmkfhq, @TheJNLC, @elfafrica1 and with support from @CentreDanida
Fellows also reflected on the importance of communication, teamwork and shared problem-solving; drawing from both classroom sessions and real-life challenges like coordinating support for colleagues across the region.
A recurring theme has been that leadership is practical. It is built in how they communicate, how they work with others and how they respond to real issues like youth unemployment, systems gaps and social change.

Fellows of the #EACYouthFellowship Cohort 3 are already deep in reflection after the first days of learning.
From understanding leadership as not just leading self but leading others responsibly, to realizing that true leadership requires collaboration, not blind followership; the conversations are already shaping how they see their role in society.
