If @WilliamsF1 ever considered running a car in the @FIAWEC or @IMSA this is what I'd hope it would look like - a Mercedes-AMG GT3 in Williams-Gulf Racing livery. 😍
@EzekiellPlays@Soos64792315@bo_cheung@SBSNews As much as most conglomerates have an ethical statement, it’s far down the list of importance to most. This was FB flexing muscle and showing the gov that it wants a more equitable negotiation. Most NGOs will get their page back, they just have to request for it to be reinstated
@EzekiellPlays@Soos64792315@bo_cheung@SBSNews How are they not respecting this upcoming law? Which states that if you show news content, you have to pay the creator of that content. FB just made it so that they don’t show that content, so they don’t have to pay.
@Soos64792315@EzekiellPlays@bo_cheung@SBSNews Was it done in a way giving fair warning to users, no. And that’s regrettable. Like I said before, this was meant as a message to gov that negotiating with a gun to your head is not a negotiation. Perhaps FB News platform that was in the works will be an option. 2/2
@Soos64792315@EzekiellPlays@bo_cheung@SBSNews Your argument is based on FB not being a good corporate citizen, which is a fair argument. However, the gov. has said this law will happen & social platforms will pay up if they show news content. As a business you can roll over and take it or do something about it. 1/2
@EzekiellPlays@Soos64792315@bo_cheung@SBSNews If these support groups haven’t ensured they have a presence outside of FB that’s just bad business management, sorry. FB can’t be made accountable for another business’ or group’s poor organisation. I think it’s a wake up call for these org. to diversify their comms strategy.
@EzekiellPlays@Soos64792315@bo_cheung@SBSNews I don’t disagree with you on this. Is it poorly timed, sure. Was it done for a reason, definitely. It sends a message to the bullies that FB won’t engage with them. And I’m sure essential services will get their pages back on the platform, FB have already indicated this.
@EzekiellPlays@Soos64792315@bo_cheung@SBSNews Perhaps these organisations can pay Facebook for the use of the platform it has built and maintains for everyone’s use. Facebook is not a right, it’s a business that can act in its own interests.
@SBSNews So, you go to the actual source where the news is published instead. FB exercised its right to change its terms of use as any business is allowed to do. Stop crying because you didn’t get your way by throwing a tantrum.

@HossaiGul @ScaranoJay ScoMo got the “behave like a petulant child and get treated like one” treatment from Waleed. Good, all journos should refuse to move on from their question until it’s actually answered. #auspol#stoppivoting
