Workload pressures, lack of autonomy, and emotional strain are fueling a burnout crisis in UK physiotherapy.
If we don’t prioritise support structures, we risk losing valuable professionals.
What can we do to change this?
Ask an ortho surgeon, anesthesiologist, or OR nurse... the average joint replacement patient didn't exercise regularly (yes, some did- genetics has a big role, too). Nor were they before their pain stopped them. Lifestyle choices affect our risk for OA and OA progression significantly.
