@MichaelVaughan I think the best thing is for players to control what they can control. lbw is open to interpretation regardless of the adjudication method.
Id tell he players...lbw is in play when you miss. hit it and it isnt. otherwise stop whining. batters are there to hit the ball in ckt
@vijayarumugam Excellent points. Add to that - the scheduling juggle is even tighter with a football world cup having the potential to steal ratings and focus
@kanecornes Rules are there for 2 main reasons: 1) to make sure one side isnt unfairly advantaged or disadvantaged 2) athlete wellbeing/safety. There will always be grey areas open to interpretation. The test as to whether to award a free kick should be against those two criteria!
@KP24 This cant be real. It better not be ffs! π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬
@mmmhotbreakfast I support lockdown to get numbers down but the conversation needs to focus on what happens when we open up. We had low numbers before, clearly the government is unable to manage outbreaks. We need a plan 'covid normal' plan - the govt isnt communicating one.
@RockinRenz@mmmhotbreakfast Im interested to know what you think will be different when we get these numbers down and open up. We had low numbers before. Are you confident we can manage like all other states once we open up? If so, how and who ia putting the plan together?
@mmmhotbreakfast why are we trying to reinvent the wheel here in Vic for Covid when we have Qld and NSW as references. Live cases and people at The Gabba last night without masks!
@mmmhotbreakfast@DanielAndrewsMP This photo taken by a friend last week in Manly, Sydney. They have active cases. Ive been concerned for some time that it may get out of control there but it hasnt. What are they doing differently?
@CheMuz18@mmmhotbreakfast@DanielAndrewsMP We had low numbers the first time around. Nsw has low numbers. Having low numbers isnt the answers. Its what we do when we get any case that needs to be explained. I dont believe the vic govt has an answer - what is frustrating is that we have one in our own backyard in other nsw
@mmmhotbreakfast@DanielAndrewsMP Great summary by Catherine Bennett - chair in epidemiology at Deakin Uni. Why isnt this being spoken about? If we are data driven in these decisions why isnt the 'Super Computer' (chuckle chuckle) data being talked about in the context of these stages. https://t.co/L82Z1mcXJg
@mmmhotbreakfast@DanielAndrewsMP Can someone please also ask what is different this time..we had low cases months ago and opened up a little. Why will opening up be different next time with active new cases even if low. We are told 1 case is enough to cause havoc
