Whether you purchased your last home 7 years ago or 2 years ago, the market isn’t the same. Today you’ll find a new market w/ different prices, different interest rates, different options, and different challenges. Search w/ that in mind.
Consider doing things differently.
If you weren’t happy w/ your 1st home or home buying experience, don’t be afraid to switch things up during round 2. If you need to, find a new real estate agent (🙋🏾♀️), go w/ a different lender, search in new area… make this go-round better.
Have a plan in case your old home sells before you find a new one.
That could include finding a buyer who will let you rent back or booking an Airbnb or temporary rental with a until you find a house that feels like home.
