A quick 13-second recap of Sherrone Moore holding down the fort for Michigan to get them into championship contention.
Broyles winner or not, we have a gem on the Wolverine coaching staff! #GoBlue
@AZarotney and @mikeyTcmu3 for being selected as COY in their reaped divisions. More importantly, both of their teams and fans showed respect to the game and their opponents all season. Itโs a sign of a well led program.
@mikeyTcmu3 Think of it as you coached the hell out of them in practice, so they could dig deep and pull off the win when the game plan needed adjustment. Either way, #Teamwork
To summarize, you don't need to agree with CRT to understand it. But you can't fully know your country without an understanding of it. Great comments by General Milley.
After being asked about Critical Race Theory, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley delivers an answer every American should watch.
@mikeyTcmu3 This column does a good job of highlighting the pros and cons of playing sports during a pandemic. It excellently points out that a lack of contract tracing has severely limited our ability to make informed decisions. If this is "trash", I think you need to reexamine your bias.
@mikeyTcmu3@NickMireles_ Definitely. Schedule is designed to accommodate one or several delays; can still have The Game in Nov. if delayed for some reason. That being said, I'd be shocked if we make it thru Sept. without at least one game cancellation, if not the season. See Rutgers for example.
Seeing #ReopenAmerica trending scared the shit out of me. But then seeing most people are tweeting it in disgust and disagreement revived my hope that we'll get through this. You can't rebuild livelihoods without lives.
@JazLyte @JasminHatchling Trust me, I wish Bernie had stronger results, I'm all for him. But if progressives won't turn out in the primary, they won't turn out in the general. Older, center-right voters sick of Trump will.
@JazLyte @JasminHatchling Don't lose hope yet. While it's disappointing to see that progressives didn't turn out (again), there is a solid block of Republican and center-right voters who are looking for someone to vote for that isn't Trump. Biden, while uninspiring to progressives, is that escape hatch.
@mikeyTcmu3 @signaak_ I doubt Teddy Roosevelt would have considered himself a socialist. But he was the Trust Buster - he broke up monopolies like pinatas to force competition into the markets. Prior to that, big industry worked together to manipulate prices for artificially high profits.
@mikeyTcmu3 @signaak_ Issue with capitalism is that it naturally encourages greed thru competition. This is a benefit - leads to better products at cheaper prices. But also a flaw - the best competitor eventually takes over the market and pursuing higher profits becomes indistinguishable from greed.
