This is why the 4 year cycle will likely continue. Everyone hates it/doesn't believe it will play out again. When the top does come you have barely anytime to get out. Before you know it 3 months have gone by and most of your gains are gone.

@SullyMichaelvan My wife says “if the 4 year cycle is so predictable won’t everyone just act on it.” I say “yeah only thing is 50% think the 4 year cycle is bullshit and supercycle forever.” 🤷🏻‍♂️ flip a coin or just hodl on…in the end it’s just a forever up cycle.

I have more cash this time around than I ever have. I bought cheap in 2018, 2019, 2022, and 2023. Also made some buys during other years that didn't play out so well. Lets see what we get in a few months.

I have never sold. However I have to say my 2 bear market bottom(near bottom) purchases outperformed my mid cycle buys by a factor of 10. This only happened because I had cash. I’m not saying to time the market but getting those cheap buys have definitely made my thinking around this more challenging.
