They did a great job looking like this 🤗 emoji, don’t you think? (🤗 also the perfect emoji to match how I feel to see their sweet, smiling faces over the screen) #trinitylearns
Social studies has been a big hit! Studying Prehistory, we examined Discovery Woods through the eyes of the first people to see if it would be a good spot to settle. Are there food and water sources? Are there resources we could use to make tools? #trinitylearns
Figure Me Out math! Students created equations to represent the important numbers in their lives (number of family members, birth date, number of letters in their name, etc.) Then, we walked around and solved to learn more about each other! #trinitylearns
Congratulations to our 17 faculty/staff recipients of our endowed grants for faculty exceptionalism! All selflessly and energetically went above and beyond to further strengthen Trinity and support our students. So proud to work with such dedicated colleagues! #trinitylearns
“Miss Walker, take a picture of us while we’re reading!” (two people totally staged themselves and I bet you can guess which ones they were 😂) #trinitylearns
The best PJ Day! Second grade tied today’s spirit week theme in with a “read-in.” Read-to-self and reading activities all day! Never heard so many “this is the best day ever”s!
While learning about the inventor of the Super Soaker (amazing scientist @LonnieGJohnson) students asked to watch the commercial over and over and over.... and over. Looks like some of them have a new toy to ask for to enjoy during the upcoming summer!
In lieu of Grandparent’s Day, students are creating “hugs” to mail to their grandparents. Here is a sneak peak of Elle’s almost-finished “hug”!! #trinitylearns#grandparenthugs
Second graders grasped partitioning shapes so quickly and easily! Some chose to use a physical geoboard to explore and some used the online version. So proud of them! #trinitylearns
