#Dayalbagh
@ShubhamAshok_@Eepsita This is noval, path breaking, exiting approach to achieving Self- Realisation and salvation. How Blessed we are to be a part of the process.
It was pleasure to host Ms. Karuna Singh @Karuna_EarthDay, Regional Director - Asia of @EarthDay.
@tier2city and Col. (Veteran) RK Singh were very kind to show her around #Dayalbagh and the agro-ecology initiatives in the farms. They showcased the various initiatives being undertaken by the local community as well as a tour of the @DeiDayalbagh campus.
She appreciated how volunteers were cleaning a main road without any #mediacoverage in a silent manner, the #greencover that enveloped the entire area, the #solarpanels that power majority of the township, the #rainwaterharvesting initiatives, the no plastic policy, #organicfarming with STP treated water and a lot more!
Not only was she amazed at the #DayalbaghWayOfLife but was astounded to see that such a place exists in #India which follows practically all #SDG norms. She finds Dayalbagh as an example that should be emulated across geographies.
Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Earth Day Network, with its partner organisations, provides #civic #engagement opportunities at the local, state, national and global levels.

@ShubhamAshok_@DeiDayalbagh Agroecology as practiced in Dayalbagh, by applying value based ecological concepts and principles in farming under The Watchful Eyes of our Supreme Father, is the most optimal way to sustain humanity in difficult times to come
I congratulate the authors of this paper on this deep analysis of the #Agroecology model as the future of #Agriculture & #Farmers, and would like to invite them to witness a benchmark initiative of this kind spread over 1600 acres in #Dayalbagh India, spearheaded by @DeiDayalbagh University (deemed) which has long been taking a #SystemsApproach to Agroecology, #PrecisionFarming and #Agroforestry to create a #selfcontained, #HealthcareHabitat for over 2.5k inhabitants residing north of the city of #Agra, #UttarPradesh.
This model is defined by the‘Sigma Six Quality, Values and Attributes’ @SigmaSixQV which provide for the integration of #Innovation, #WaterQuality, #AirQuality, #Education & #Healthcare, #Agriculture & #DairyPractices, and #HumanValues to optimize the interactions between plants, animals, humans, and the environment while taking into consideration the social aspects that need to be addressed for a sustainable and fair food system.
Please come experience this model which has succeeding in achieving 100% of the @UN_SDG Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for a better world!

He is the Embodiment of the phrase we hear so often, simple living and high thinking. In the next tweet in this thread I will tell you about His journey before He was acclaimed as the Eighth Revered Leader of the #Radhasoami faith in 2003.
Revered Gurcharan Das Mehta ji Sahab was born in Punjab in 1885. He was extraordinarily intelligent from childhood and obtained high ranks in class. In the Matriculation Examination, He stood first in the district.

In December 1938, Mehtaji Maharaj was acclaimed as the sixth Sant Satguru of the #Dayalbagh #Radhasoami faith.
There is so much that can be written about what He did after acclamation as Sant Satguru, but that I will leave for another day.
