Effective teachers don't focus so much on rules, but more on relationships, routines, & expectations. If you focus mainly on rules, you will spend most of the year enforcing them. But if you focus on relationships, routines, & expectations, you rarely have to defer back to rules.

This is my first summer in 10 years (?!) that I have not worked a second or part-time job. Itโs been filled with amazing moments outside, lots of books read, records played, & cups of coffee. Cup is overflowing ๐
Youโre starting to expand. Youโre starting to think differently. Youโre moving in a new way. You canโt really explain it, but you know that this is your time. The entire universe is working in your favor.
Transitioning from HS to elementary I have learned SO much, and said things I never thought I would ๐คฃI asked my kids the most common things I've said t/o the school year.. this was number 1 by a landslide...

Questions I'm asked by every college recruiter:
1) What's his GPA?
2) Does he run track?
3) Does he play any other sports?
4) What's his character like?
5) Does he show up for all team workouts/activities?
6) Has he taken the SAT/ACT?
7) Then we talk about football ability.
