All Ontario school boards affected by the #CUPE strike should be offering no more than asynchronous learning until further notice. Synchronous online learning is not equitable, and certainly not a part of any (now expired) teaching contract in Ontario. #onted#ontedsolidarity
ACTION NEEDED! Teachers - more than just ‘food for thought’ ~ time to update old cringeworthy practices - if you haven’t already. This is honouring, respecting and including ALL students. #equity#inclusion#onted#teachers
👌🏻👍🏻👏🏻❤️
Thanks @Upworthy for posting this.
It’s so interesting, in my class, my DECE partner and I both mask and 24/28 students still do. Down the hall, neither educator masks and the majority of the class doesn’t. Staff, make your masking decision knowing that you are modelling how to care for others.
@ElemTeachersTO So what will @ETFOeducators and @ElemTeachersTO do about this? This is a complete disregard for mental health. I don’t want it be talked to about mental health again. So disrespectful to expect us to plan at the 11th hour on a Sunday at 7pm.
@tdsb At 7pm on Sunday night, I have already completed my IN CLASS plans for tomorrow. It is completely unreasonable to be told now that I have to switch to virtual. The plans are different, the prep is different. Ps. It’s the weekend?! @tdsb
We don’t have an issue of racism in our school.
Because we work towards success for ALL students.
Translation = we have a huge racism problem in our school because we are still in the denial stage.

Happy Diwali to everyone celebrating! Today we read a Binny’s Diwali and learned that the Festival of Lights is about keeping the darkness out of our homes. The Ss decided that we should brighten up our school by doing rangoli out our front doors. @ansonparkps@tdsb@LC3_TDSB
Having everyone back in the classroom together means super fun opportunities for us to connect with each other and try new things. Not pictured…all of the roasted pumpkin seeds in our belly 🤤 @ansonparkps@LC3_TDSB
Outdoor learning is important for Ss everyday…but today we took it up a notch and spent our WHOLE day outdoors for #TakeMeOutsideDay 267 minutes to be exact. Literacy, math, a community walk and art were all enjoyed on this beautiful fall day! @takemeoutside@LC3_TDSB@tdsb
For children who are having problems paying #attention, one of the most important things for them to become aware of is what’s happening inside and around them, including their physical state: hungry, thirsty, tired, hot etc. #SelfReg
