I am extremely pissed off that I was forced to log back in to this busted-ass site just so that I could reactivate my two-factor authentication, which was shut off because I don't pay for Twitter Blue. What, and I say this with the greatest of disrespect, the fuck.

Which, yeah, auth apps are more secure than SMS, fine, but you know what's not more secure? Just shutting off the SMS 2FA people and sending them a chirpy notice that "your 2FA has been deactivated! have a nice day!" w/o saying you can reactivate it w/a different method.

@drainbead Our cats Spock and Athena were Radar and Cookie, respectively. Athena is a gray-eyed mastermind, and Cookie does not fit her at all. Spock, however, is a big doofus who gets confused by the cat flap and is terrified of birds. Frankly neither of his names has been a good fit.

@hugseverycat0 I've been on discord a lot tbh. I've found some subject-specific servers (mostly around fanfic writing) that have a sense of community that reminds me a little of early 2000s message board culture. it's very different from the toxic hellstew of Twitter/FB/etc.
