If someone is telling you that they are not okay, do not dismiss or neglect them. That is their way of reaching out for a lending ear or shoulder to cry on.
I wish more people understood that there are many levels to mental health and all of it is real. Anxiety is real. Depression is real. It is okay not to be okay. It is also okay to have feelings.
So like when you come home after your day, aren’t you supposed to greet your significant other with “hey how was your day?”, possibly with a hug or kiss? Yeah. I thought so too.
I know, it’s 2022 and it’s a world of technology and social media. But fuck, would it kill some of you to put your phone away when someone (in real life might i add) is TALKING TO YOU?!
