#Iran | Minister @Antonio_Tajani chaired a new meeting with Italian Embassies and Consulates in the Middle East on the ongoing operations and the assistance provided to all Italians in the area. 🗣️ "We are organizing several initiatives to facilitate support for our fellow citizens, depending on possible scenarios. I am maintaining a constant dialogue with the Ministers of the countries involved, who have assured their full support for our diplomatic missions so they can provide the best possible assistance.
The safety of our fellow citizens remains our absolute priority.
I will continue to coordinate, in contact with the President of the Council, our Ambassadors and Consuls in the region to ensure the safety of our nationals."

#Iran | Minister @Antonio_Tajani 🗣️: “For safety reasons, we decided to close the Italian Embassy in Tehran. A group of about 50 Italian nationals led by our Ambassador to Iran has crossed the border into Azerbaijan.
We are keeping diplomatic relations with Tehran open, in order to protect the Italians there and our national interests. The Embassy will continue to operate from Baku.”

Historic bilateral #maritime engagement b/n #IndianNavy & @ItalianNavy, from 01 - 06 Oct. Featured maiden exercise by Carrier Strike Groups (CSG) from both navies.
Sea phase, on 05-06 Oct, was led by the two carriers @IN_Vikramaditya & #ITSCavour along with #INSVisakhapatnam & #ITSAlpino.

Intense operations with integral fighter aircraft & helos, for combined Large Force Engagements, Air Combat Missions, Helo Ops & #SearchAndRescue missions as also co-ordinated weapon firings & joint manoeuvres, to underscore joint operations, Command & Control capabilities and enhance interoperability.

A key facet of the landmark exercise was the participation of #IAF, that undertook manoeuvres with Italian CSG aircraft including Large Force Engagements & Combat Missions.
