@geochops @alan_g_jones @Macquarie_Uni @kate_selway Yes, and you need it due to the regolith. In Canada it's a harder sell, but MT used by industry since 1995 (many 10s thousands sites) to probe beyond 500 m (limit of CSEM). Academia struggles though.

Excellent paper just published that relates MT and seismic tomography to earthquakes in Botswana. The SAMTEX MT dataset was used in this work by Max Moorkamp and colleagues (including me...)
