Telling someone that they should “embrace who they are” or to “follow your heart” isn’t Christian love. I don’t care if it’s adultery, homosexuality, transgenderism, greed, or some other form of idolatry.
Believers should call people to repentance and point to Jesus.
Christ told His disciples not to be anxious about tomorrow, but He never said not to consider tomorrow. Intelligent problem solving demands careful consideration of the future effects of present solutions.

I’m convinced much, if not all, of the Biblical illiteracy in America comes down to two issues.
The first being an enormous amount of unqualified men in the role of elder.
The second being the amount of people that claim Christ but aren’t being discipled.

If your spiritual life rises and falls w/ the political news cycle you’re not being guided by the Holy Spirit, you’re being guided by the spirit of the age.
Christian your hope is not in the ever moving situations around you, your hope is in the already/not yet kingdom of Christ
We should pray when we are in a praying mood, for it would be sinful to neglect so fair an opportunity. We should pray when we are not in a proper mood, for it would be dangerous to remain in so unhealthy a condition.
—Charles Spurgeon
Do not be anxious over what’s happening in the world, Christian.
Your citizenship is still in heaven.
Your king is still Jesus.
The nations are raging. People are plotting in vain. Governments have set themselves against Jesus.
He’s laughing at them, so why are you anxious?
Just a thought, but Paul’s words in Colossians 4:5-6 seem helpful for this platform:
“Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.”
