[Registration is now open for Spring/Summer courses] ... Ornithology (BIOL-3651) is being offered this Spring session, and open to only 20 students! One in-person lab per week will give you access to MtA's extensive bird collection :)
Save your spot! "Open Science Skills in R" workshop series hosted by MSc student Christelinda Laureijs, Data and Digital Services Librarian Elizabeth Stregger, and Bio professor Dr. Julia Riley.
For undergrads, grad students, faculty and staff on 3 Wed evenings from Jan 29th.
Biology Seminar today, 11:30am-12:20pm, with Dr. Matt Litvak. Join in next Friday, January 24th @ 11:30, with Dr. Anna Hargraves (virtual session) ~ tune in on Teams or with others in AVDX G10 as Dr. Hargraves from McGill discusses "Where do species interactions matter most?"
Research in the Hargraves Lab straddles ecology and evolution. We are especially interested in adaptation in range-edge populations, interactions among flowers and their visitors, and the role biotic interactions play in shaping species’ geographic distributions.
The Biology Seminar Series resumes (Jan 17th - Mar 28th) next Friday with Dr. Matt Litvak's talk on the ecology and behaviour of sturgeons: new approaches to understand and protect ancient species. Join in at 11:30 on the 17th in Avard-Dixon G10 or on Teams.
You are cordially invited to attend the following seminar:
Speaker: Dr. Zhe She
Date: Monday, January 20, 2025
Time: 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
Topic: Exploring Application of Self-Assembled Monolayers in Environmental and Clinical Detections
We hope to see you there!
