YouTube demonetized my channel for "Inauthentic content" a few days ago.

I want to tell you my full story because I think people need to hear it.

I run a history and education channel on YouTube. Every single video starts with hours of academic research. I pull from real scholarly sources, primary historical records, and published academic works. I write every script completely from scratch. I physically film everything myself. I appear on camera in every single video. I manually edit every cut. I hand design every thumbnail.

This is not automated content. This is not mass produced. This is me, showing up, doing the work, every single time.

YouTube demonetized my channel for "Inauthentic content" and removed $5,000 from me. Money I needed. Gone overnight with no warning and no real explanation.

I made an appeal video walking through my entire creation process step by step. It was never watched. An AI rejected it before a single human ever saw it. The response I received was a copy paste message that thousands of other creators got word for word.

I have reached out. I have followed the process. I have done everything they asked. And I keep getting the same automated wall.

All I am asking for is one real person at YouTube to actually look at my channel.

I told myself I would never do this barring a medical emergency for my child: but here we are. If you wish to help us out financially at this time we have a few methods to do so directly. Beyond the medical bills coming that are saving Aiden’s life, we have already drained our bank account to be here.

Hotel, food to survive, and this is all before the realization that as the person who provides to my family - I have not worked in 5 days and won’t be working for the next week, two weeks, or longer. Meaning I am out thousands of dollars to end this month needed to pay bills and take care of my whole family in January and February.

We have no goals, we have no “oh this is what we need” because we aren’t concerning ourselves with trying to think that far ahead. But already without asking Yulia and I have only been able to eat so far due to the kindness of our community donating to us without us ever asking for it.

It hurts to ask. But I don’t want to burden my entire extended family financially to ruin themselves, to help us. Even a dollar can go a long ways when you add them all up. So at this time, if your willing, here are the ways to directly provide money to help us not just today, but for the next couple of months, an to help us cover Aiden’s life saving medical bills.

More than anything, we want Aiden home with us. Feeling good, and I’ll sell all I have to make sure he’s supported. I’ve even contemplated selling my YouTube channel as I have a standing offer. Whatever is necessary.
