Seyi Makinde has completely failed the people of Oyo State. There is no softer way to say it anymore. A governor who allegedly procured surveillance aircrafts since 2025 cannot continue to deceive the public while kidnappers operate comfortably on our soil and innocent citizens are abandoned to their fate. Till today, nobody has seen these aircrafts, nobody has seen results, and nobody can point to any serious improvement in security. At this point, the entire thing looks like another expensive propaganda scam designed to fool the people while insecurity keeps consuming the state.

Since the 15th of May, school children and teachers have been kidnapped and held in the bush like abandoned animals. Two teachers are already dead. Families are crying day and night, parents cannot sleep, and innocent children are exposed to hunger, rain, fear, and possible torture. Yet @seyimakinde the Governor of Oyo State appears completely unbothered.

What kind of Governor watches children suffer in captivity and still chooses to climb political stages to campaign, endorse political loyalists, and engage in shameless political drama? What exactly is more important than the lives of innocent school children and teachers? This is beyond incompetence; it is wicked negligence and a disgraceful failure of leadership.

A governor with conscience and genuine humanity would suspend every political activity and focus entirely on rescue operations and security coordination until every child is safely reunited with their family. But Seyi Makinde has chosen politics over people, media optics over human lives, and propaganda over responsibility.

The painful truth is that this government has become painfully arrogant, disconnected, and emotionally empty. The people are dying, citizens are living in fear, families are shattered, yet those in power continue behaving like everything is normal. This level of insensitivity is infuriating and unforgivable.

Oyo State deserves better!!
It deserves a governor who understands the value of human life, not one who appears more passionate about political succession plans while the state sinks deeper into insecurity and fear.

This administration should be ashamed of itself.
