@hemantzeal@NoContextBrits lol as a small business owner we are £4 k a month worse off from 1st April. Spoke to a small plumbing firm who are £15k a month worse off. They don’t have a bloody clue.
@NormanBrennan The machine of government. “Public enquiry “= We the government cannot comment on this matter until the enquiry has reached its findings. Post enquiry “we will learn from the findings and look to implement changes”. It’s literally a play to shut down debate.
@hatetorycuts If women Working in the distribution centre / warehouse got less pay then absolutely. But this is different roles. Shop floor vs warehouse. Trying to make it men vs women when it’s role A vs Role B just seems underhand.
@brendonboshell@RunRunJim1@PolitlcsUK@thetimes Well that’s wrong. Bolton school have increased fees 5% not 20% as the majority of there students come from families who can just afford it. So a 20% whack would be too much for many and they would lose students. Their fees are about £12k a year.
@philEvansMajor Highlighting the fundamental problems with parenting. Wrapping them in cotton wool. I’m an employer and the number of mums that email asking for Jobs for their kids. Or phoning in sick for them is staggering. Cut the apron strings and let them stand on their own two feet.
@Phi1Curley@mattletiss7 No they didn’t it was a police criminal matter so suspended until investigation complete it’s not a work matter. The other is purely a workplace matter and can be dealt with internally.
@carolvorders@Daily_Record This makes literally no sense. Do you want a new government that there’s no credible opposition to hold them to account? Regardless of your political views there always needs to be balance.
