BREAKING: LeBron James is signing with the Philadelphia 76ers on a two-year, $8 million deal with a player option, Klutch Sports Group and Klutch CEO and Game Over show host Rich Paul tells ESPN.
@Nate_Tice@_FanUp For better or for worse, they’re all talking about the Jalen stuff. I do think a lot of the super analytics type people severely discount his impact on the run game. But the flip side is you guys were obviously right that without that he’s an average qb at best!
The NFL is tampering with its most valuable asset — scarcity. We love football *because* it’s once or twice each week. It makes every game special. No one wants 7 games in 9 nights. Then it becomes just like every other sport.
@pyradius@sam_d_1995@matthewstoller This is interesting. You’re probably right but if you were making a multi million dollar investment would you bet on the government in 7 years sharing your interpretation of good faith or just build something else?
@KarimElNemr3@BenjaminSolak The second chart you share is perfect. Russell Wilson is the prototype for QBs who won’t throw over the middle of the field, yet his efficiency at it is super high
@akidderz@mattyglesias @MaxMMillerAT They’re implying that anyone who disagrees with them must diddle children because only someone that evil could not see it their way.
@denizselman33 I don’t think Nick knows how to do this other than a screen, which is less effective because teams don’t rush Jalen the same way they rush more stationary QBs
@denizselman33 I don’t think this makes me think the starters should’ve played, it makes me think our coaching staff has to go this offseason because that was incoherent
@ACMBreaker@Bananapgn@JimmyKempski Why would one of the winningest coaches in NFL history learn a lesson after winning again? (Not a Sirianni defense, I just do not think he’s going to change anything about the approach)
