Today, on the final day of the visit to China, Minister @Vbiruta and the Inspector General of @Rwandapolice (IGP) @fnamuh visited the People’s Public Security University of China in Beijing and engaged with the University leadership on strengthening collaboration in various training programmes.
The University currently hosts 12 Rwandan law enforcement officers attending an anti-telecom fraud course under the China–EAPCCO partnership.

Minister of Interior, @Vbiruta , and IGP CG Felix Namuhoranye are in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, China, attending the 2026 Global Public Security Cooperation Forum.

The forum focuses on strengthening cooperation against transnational and technology driven security threats.

Minister Biruta emphasized that effective public security governance must be people centred, preventive and built on community trust and strong institutions, while international cooperation remains key to tackling emerging threats, including cybercrime and terrorism.
