This is momentous. First time this new power cycle, the zero-emissions supercritical CO2 Allam-Fetvedt cycle, is producing electricity for export to a regional synchronized AC grid.

China halting overseas coal is not really news in Africa. ⁦@jakekincer⁩ & I looked at every project in the pipeline and found just 1 (Chinese project in Zimbabwe) that was actually likely. The rest are all already cancelled or improbable. https://t.co/7VX8Tcni6z
