@WalkingDead_AMC Side note: That line is a good example of the showrunner not understanding the characters’ history with each other at all. Daryl wouldn’t question why Carol gets to keep going, especially knowing that she’s struggled with suicidal ideation in the past #TWDCaryl

“A deep care and compassion for each other that goes beyond romantic love” is a middle-aged white man’s way of saying he’s too ageist and misogynistic to give Carol and Daryl the romantic beats they’ve earned under the guise that he’s thinking outside the box. #TWDCaryl
