A estas alturas del partido resulta casi obsceno escuchar a ciertos académicos sostener que el problema del salario en Venezuela no guarda relación con la retroactividad ni con el peso estructural que implica sostener determinados pasivos laborales en una economía destruida. Como si durante años empresarios y gobierno hubiesen construido esta inmensa trocha de bonificaciones compensatorias por deporte, por capricho o por un malvado capitalismo explotador.

No señores. Lo hicieron porque el sistema reventó, porque la realidad terminó burlándose de la ley.

Ese es nuestro drama: tenemos un ordenamiento jurídico redactado muchas veces como si el país fuese Noruega con petróleo infinito y productividad alemana, mientras la economía real apenas puede respirar. Leyes elevadísimas, moralmente impecables, pero imposibles de sostener sin pulverizar empresas, empleo o ambas cosas al mismo tiempo.

Eso no significa renunciar a derechos. Significa entender que los derechos no se decretan como quien redacta poesía constitucional. Se construyen, se financian, se sostienen. Progresivamente. La historia venezolan está harta de hacernos ver que cuando la política promete más de lo que la realidad puede pagar, termina ocurriendo lo que vivimos hoy: trabajadores sin salario digno y patronos refugiados en ficciones “bonificatorias” para sobrevivir.

Mientras tanto, seguimos atrapados entre quienes quieren vender humo ideológico y quienes convierten cualquier debate serio en cálculo político.

Ya basta.

Un país no se reconstruye recitando artículos como oraciones sagradas, sino teniendo el coraje de admitir que también hay leyes que fracasan. En Venezuela, la letra muerta ya ocupa más espacio que la realidad viva.

The US 🇺🇸 just removed the Chinese from El Guri, Venezuela’s hydro dam and the third largest in the world; after Itaipú.

Siemens and GE are now under contract to evaluate and rehabilitate Venezuela's dam and the entire national grid (SEN).

This is not a routine infrastructure story. This is a geopolitical reordering of who controls Venezuela's energy future.

It follows @SecWright's February energy agreements in Caracas and GL 48A, which authorized American companies to generate, distribute, store and sell electricity in Venezuela. The Chinese are out. American private capital is in.

Here's the part many haven’t realized yet: without reliable electricity, there is no economic recovery. No oil production recovery. No industrial base. Nothing.

Bitcoin miners belong in this picture.

36 GW of installed capacity. 17 GW of historical peak demand. Once El Guri and the thermal plants come back online, there will be surplus generation looking for a buyer.

Bitcoin miners are the perfect buyer of last resort. They absorb excess output, generate hard dollar revenue, and can be curtailed instantly when demand spikes. No state debt. No sovereign borrowing. Private capital does the work.

Siemens and GE restore the grid. Bitcoin miners monetize the surplus while the broader economy catches up.

This is already a playbook in Ethiopia, Kenya, Zambia, Texas, and Venezuela is next.

The only question is who moves first.

On June 23, 2021, it was reported that John McAfee was found dead by suicide in his prison cell at the Brians 2 Penitenciari in Spain. This was reported to the world before myself, Janice McAfee, and his attorney were notified. I, being listed by John as his wife on his prison intake forms, should have been notified but I found out through a DM and subsequent Google search.

Given the fact that someone within the prison leaked the news about John's death, I was puzzled when the prison opened an investigation into his death. However, I am grateful they did open an investigation because it was the prison's own investigative report that told the true story of how John died that day.

John was not dead, as reported, when a prison guard found him in his cell. He was breathing and he had a heartbeat. A medical team was called in, per the prison's protocol, and once they arrived, CPR began. For more than ten minutes CPR was performed on John with the noose tied around his neck. For anyone unfamiliar with the steps taken to perform CPR, a quick Google search will inform you that you first must clear the person's airway before starting CPR.

Why then would the prison's medical response team perform CPR on John with the noose still tied around his neck?

John spoke often about rogue CIA agents and cartels, very dangerous people, seeking to kidnap and kill him. He also spoke often about damaging information he had that made him a threat to powerful people. When he shared the truth of the very real danger he was in, instead of getting protection from these threats, John was mocked in the media and called paranoid. There were many attempts and a few close calls John survived during our relationship. He and I both did. Because of this we stayed well armed and John hired ex military as live in security.

The threats to John's life were indeed real, whether people choose to believe it or not. You need only look to his death for the proof. John is not dead because he committed suicide. John is dead because the so called medical team performed CPR on him with a noose around his neck.

So it seems his paranoia was well founded.
