@itskamryn_det Definitely! I’ll admit I used to watch a lot of NTD’s live streaming app for language practice because it was mostly just regular dramas and stuff and all free…but I wouldn’t give them money for any reason because I’m not on board with all that.

@itskamryn_det Yeah the founder of the movement has described homosexuality as rendering somebody “unfit for being human” or something to that effect. That’s a pretty gross perspective if you ask me! I doubt almost any of this stuff would be obvious simply from seeing the show.

@itskamryn_det They’ve been pretty active in far-right politics in North America and Europe for an assortment of reasons, and are openly anti-queer, have spread anti-vax messages, and more. I’m sympathetic to their persecuted status in the PRC but also think they’re a little bit…much.

@xMochaPuffx Yeah I used to try that and it took forever and made my hands smell like garlic for hours! Glad I learned this though, like 95% of the time it just takes a few seconds per clove of garlic. If you want to be happy, eating garlic is important 😋

@xMochaPuffx Used to think the same then learned the trick: take a clove of garlic, cut off the hard bit on the bottom and then lay the garlic clove on its side on a cutting board. Use the flat of a large knife to gently crush the clove. The garlic will now just slip out of the peel!
