spent time in salt lake city surrounded by the best builders on solana and came back a different person.

here's my honest breakdown:

the room: solana foundation. solana mobile. squads. metaplex. multicoin. yc. in the same building. networking couldnt be more productive

it doesnt matter if you're a founder, builder, dev, BD or designer. you will definitely leave with something.

the alpha sessions: yc office hours with @nemild hit different. helped sharpen the thesis on agent identity and why platforms that don't treat it as core infra won't survive.

demo day: 30+ projects. 3 tracks: infra & protocol, defi & capital markets, consumer and payments with @vibhu, @edgarpavlovsky & @barrett_io live.

the ones that genuinely impressed me: @avodotso @usetapestry @eatwithnomu @getpyra & @pack3dotfun. quality of builders in that room was scary good.

the side events: après build by @solanafndn. guns n hotpot by @wesplit_io x @meteoraeco. open tech summit by @jacobvcrech. communities mixer ft @superteam @monkedao @LucidDrakes @MoustacheDAO by @supersimon77 . every single day was productive

personal: my @solanamobile got delivered here. delivery restrictions back in asia so i thought I'd route it through the US. picking it up at mtndao of all places was a moment.

also wrote and published my full yield bearing stablecoin research on solana during this trip(55k+ impressions atm). the mountains do something to your focus that nothing else ever will.

the skiing: beyond the quality, this is what separates mtndao from others. it is built around utah culture. the mountains, slc, snowbird - it's more than a backdrop, it's the point.

you lock in during the weekdays and ski in the weekends & something about that rhythm just unlocks a different version of you. previous years i skied. this time i picked up snowboarding and hit the blacks at snowbird. if you know snowbird blacks, you know.

ppl got some banger tattoos right in the office. s/o @hnxyn_ for that.
