@ikwilson Your movement failed to convince anyone other than those who already supported separation or the larger group who wanted to “send Ottawa a message”. Without support from major corporate decision makers, the pursuit of independence is going nowhere.
@echipiuk One of the biggest issues the separatist movement in Alberta faces is being taken seriously by corporate decision makers. For example, bringing in the likes of Sean Strickland to speak at your rallies hurts your credibility. Also, time to form your own political party.
@CoryBMorgan Time for the separatist movement to form their own political party. Seems as though the majority of Conservatives want to remain part of Canada so it’s time for the separatists to go their own way.
@BertaProudDad@ABDanielleSmith If the UCP would stop enabling the separatist/far right, those of us who are “right of centre” would be willing to vote Conservative again. Until then, many of us vote for the NDP even though we want a conservative government.
@Altonervative@david_parker DP can’t stop talking…otherwise the donations stop. He’s well aware the Referendum will fail however he will continue his crusade long afterwards to ensure the donations keep coming in. Total hustler.
@CoryBMorgan While I disagree with the separatist agenda, I applaud the effort and encourage an ongoing, intelligent debate. No question, Albertans have legitimate grievances that need to be addressed. I’ve been in Alberta since I was 10 years old and plan on staying forever!
@Martyupnorth There is something we absolutely agree on. Regardless of political party, elected officials spend WAY too much time playing politics and VERY LITTLE time getting anything important accomplished!!
@CoryBMorgan I would have said the same thing however just had a conversation with an electrical contractor today. In 2025 they were installing 4-5 residential EV chargers a year. They are now installing 4-5 every week in the Edmonton area.
@AlleyDalley Buy clubs that are less than 10 years old and unless the grips have been replaced recently, get them regripped at a golf shop. New grips are worth every dollar 😊
@ikwilson@echipiuk I’ve yet to see the list of CEOs who are committed to investing MORE in an independent Alberta. Quote all the RBC studies you want but show that list. Reality sets in when you sit across from someone who makes investment decisions rather than writing reports.
@jmhamiltonblog@hockeymama79 I should have bet the “over” on the number of times she blamed Trudeau in last night’s address. Always playing the victim card 😆
