There was a time in our country when Baptist churches had Sunday school, Sunday morning service, Sunday evening service, and mid-week Bible study and prayer meeting.

There was a time in our country when Baptist pastors preached “Thus saith the Lord” from the King James Bible and weren’t afraid of the big givers in the church.

There was a time in our country when Baptist churches went soul-winning and street preaching.

There was a time in our country when Baptist churches were big on the bus ministry.

There was a time in our country when Baptist churches preached on fasting and praying.

There was a time in our country when Baptist churches had discipleship classes in place to help new converts grow.

Now that the world has gotten worse, Christians are blaming the politicians for all the debauchery in our country, but in reality the churches are the reason America is in the shape she is in.

@DrFrankTurek Evidently the Ephesian and Roman Christians under stood the Apostle Paul`s writing concerning "election" and "predestination" otherwise I don`t believe the Apostle Paul would have wasted his time writing about it in his epistles. It is we who can`t get a handle on the subject.

@Tim_random1 The Apostle Paul, who is our Apostle in this age of Grace; never mentioned water baptism being part of the salvation experience. He did mention the spiritual baptism into the Body of Christ, 1st Corinthians 12:13, Gal 3:27-28, Romans 6:3.
