The Book of Mormon. Nephi, Alma, Mosiah, take your pick. The subject is - the Nephites in the Americas. They are described as highly industrial, building large cities, roads, infrastructure, temples and using advanced metallurgies. Also, we are told they kept meticulous records on metal plates. Military and political systems were advanced and considerable in size and capability.

Astounding really considering this was the same time as the late Egyptians.

Can you please provide me a single piece of historical evidence, archeological, written record, etc from the time period that proves that a highly advanced society existed in the Americas in the 500s BC?
