I talked to some right-wing friends today and realized one of the biggest problems - they’re only seeing the crazies that are saying disgusting things about Charlie Kirk’s death. And that’s understandably driving rage. Others have said nice things, but that doesn’t make news.
We don’t have to agree with what Charlie said. We don’t have to change our minds on anything. But in a situation like this, where a young man with a family dies tragically, basic decency requires our side to say - and to mean - we’re so sorry for your loss.
A Christian husband and father was just killed in front of the whole world. In a world where nothing really shocks me, I’m shocked. Praying for his family. Praying for peace.
@BricePaterik Asking for a friend. Can anyone explain to me how Nico was expected to afford a championship caliber team paying 70 million a year to player who is specifically targeted by other offenses on defense? Is there a world that existed that we lose him to free agency not offering Smax?
