Las personas que se describen a sí mismas como muy "morales" tienden a juzgar de manera más cruel las faltas de los demás y a ser más indulgentes con sus propias faltas.

El oro y las obras de arte de los Museos del Vaticano son patrimonio cultural inalienable por derecho internacional, no se pueden vender aunque quisieran, pertenecen a la humanidad. Si liquidaras todo de repente darias de comer a los pobres del un día y medio y despues se acabo el Vaticano para siempre.

Ahora los datos importantes. Solo Cáritas Española movió 418 millones de euros en 2023 y atendio a tres millones de personas. La Iglesia católica mundial gestiona 5.287 hospitales, 15.937 dispensarios, 10.124 orfanatos, 11.596 guarderias, 95.000 escuelas primarias, 43.000 institutos y cientos de universidades, en España la Iglesia sostiene mas obra social que la suma de todas las ONG del país.

Y sobre los gitanos del Vaticano, pues bueno, la comunidad romaní en Italia recibe ayudas estatales italianas y fondos europeos, pero en España los gitanos son beneficiarios prioritarios de Cáritas. Que vivan mal es responsabilidad del Estado italiano y en muchos casos suya propia, no de una institución religiosa que además los atiende.

El meme es de una pereza intelectual apabullante. Si el Vaticano se vendiese entero cerrarian miles de hospitales y escuelas en Africa y Asia al mes siguiente.

Hay gente a la que esto les pueda parecer exagerado o anecdótico, pero es la norma en secundaria. Alumnos que suspenden los exámenes porque no entienden los enunciados. Que no manejan sustantivos o verbos de uso común, que manejan menos de mil palabras para comunicarse.
