i’ve added my first @quirkiesnft og to my bag.

it was one of the first decisions I made regarding my strategy for 2026.

before making that move, i had a great chat with @RealPapii.

what stood out was not just the openness of the discussion, but the long term mindset behind how he thinks about Quirkies.

→ he supported me part of the eth
→ gave me full freedom to choose an nft that matched my personal style

this wasn’t just a transaction.

it felt like trust exchanged between people who share a similar view on building IP, and that says a lot about the culture behind this project.

i don’t see Quirkies as just an nft.
i see it as a web3 collectible asset.

where value comes from IP ownership, brand depth, and long term expandability, not short term trading activity.

what gives me real conviction:

→ how intentionally quirkies has chosen to adapt and reposition, instead of chasing nft trading volume.

a few signals that reinforce that conviction:

1) @AdamWeitsman acquiring 100 Quirkies og
- this looks like a long term collector mindset, not short term speculation
- a bet on brand and IP value, not charts

2) merch and physical products
- Quirkies is expanding beyond onchain
- nfts act as a membership and identity layer, not the end product

3) street culture and brand positioning
- culture first, storytelling before monetization
- a necessary foundation to reach families and younger audiences over time

4) Streetstrategy ($STREET)
- a new liquidity layer built around quirkies
- allowing capital to gain exposure without immediate nft ownership
- reflecting interest and expectation before conviction turns into long term holding

5) long term IP vision
- the entire project and ip have been acquired and strategically repositioned
- Quirkies is being developed as a next generation ip layer
- focus on storytelling, education, and long term experiences

nfts are only the initial IP ownership layer.

they are not the core revenue engine and they aren't dependent on short term trading cycles.

for me, this isn’t a bet on a pump.

it’s a choice based on:
> clarity of IP vision
> the people behind the project
> the ability to scale across cycles

in 2026, i’m not chasing noise.

i’m choosing IP built on trust, culture, and patience where nfts become long term value, not just another short term chart.
