This is about lessening the severity of the illness. It’s like wearing a seatbelt, you may still get injured if in a wreck, but chances of dying are decreased.

@Rajh0n @KHOU The vaccine is for herd immunity. Why would one not want to protect others? They don’t know long term affects of those that survived Covid yet. Several healthy people have died and had severe cases.

@Rajh0n @KHOU You can get compensation in certain situation, but not then which is why there are several disclaimers now. Children are getting the Covid shot up to a certain age and trials younger are taking place.

@Rajh0n @KHOU The polio vaccine was tested on people for just one year. Parents were rushing to get their children in the trial and then vaccinated in hopes of a better future. Too bad we’re not all as brave as our ancestors or as caring about the community.

@Rajh0n @KHOU Who decides how long something has to be tested? The same people who are saying it’s ok for emergency use. Drugs that have been approved still have recalls, cause severe side effects, and even death. Nothing is perfect. We just accept it because it’s approved and been around?
