@RichardWhalen@SheppardNoah14@VOCMNEWS I see lots of these so called working poor driving around in new vehicles. If you are truly the working poor you are probably not in the market for a new car anyway.Maybe the answer you want is have the “rich” people buy lots of new ev’s so the working poor can buy affordable used
@RichardWhalen@SheppardNoah14@VOCMNEWS You obviously have not done your research. Newer vehicles coming out now combined with the rebates they are comparable in price to its gas version. Is supply still an issue? Definitely. But you do not need to be rich to own one and definitely not to operate one. Do your homework!

@BicycleNL @CityofStJohns Always thought this would be an awesome idea for NLESD and the school community to put on that huge piece of property next to Macdonald elementary and junior high schools. Encourage more kids to bike to school then use them after school in such a residential area.
@VOCMNEWS I don’t know why someone doesn’t build student housing on the old sites of the long term care facilities on Portugal Cove Road? More central for multiple campuses, close enough to walk but still on bus routes and services plus has its own parking.
Delighted to share my first piece for @Chatelaine!
