@BBCBreakfast re:brainteaser - this week i'm gonna struggle with as i dont know much about the middle 2 authors. without falling down a google hole i'll take a stab at something related to spying, or maybe roles in the military.
part of me hopes that's suitably a red herring tho.
@BBCBreakfast re:brainteaser - i'm not ashamed to say that last question is probably the first one i didn't get right. i was stuck on song lyrics. i should have thought more about counting the letters. i think because i wrote it the same as you i wrongly counted 11 instead if 12.
@BBCBreakfast re:cats - this is obvious.
firstly cats are more active than dogs during the night. if nothing else they will likely get up to eat.
but mainly they do a health check. middle of the night they will poke you/etc to check you're alive.
mine used to gently bite my toes.
@BBCBreakfast re:roadrage - i say again, i don't think humans should drive.
the rage, i think there's a kind of psychological issue. driving's a full on strain on the brain. add to that the power trip of being in a giant metal box, both weapon and shield, it's a tinder box.
@BBCBreakfast re:footie - you don't want everyone to come onto the field with their cultural dances /etc. think about it. the closest england has is morris dancing. sure, they'd probably creep out the other team, but the embarrassment would kill them.
LoL
@BBCBreakfast re:3lions - no, they're Lions. the problem is in heraldry, the making of coat of arms, there was already a lion shape. they needed a new name for the different shape is all. it's likely called leopard just because ye olde folk didn't really know the difference.
@BBCBreakfast re:novak - how about keeping it simple? if someone says they've been stabbed, especially if they're in custody, you get them some damn medical attention asap. that's the bigger issue here.
@BBCBreakfast re:job - university being a virtual guarantee to getting a job hasn't been true for a long time now, it's just now it's hitting the more affluent folk.
apprenticeships make more sense.
debt is insane.
university is only essential for university teachers.
@BBCBreakfast re:jill - you know crowds are gonna end up singing that song. i didnt get a good look, is there three of anything in particular on that shirt?
