I have been a Muslim all my life, but I have always had some uncertainty regarding Christians who claim to cast out demons from people in churches. I would like to believe that these cases could involve possession by jinn.

My question is: if ruqyah is the prescribed Islamic means of seeking protection from and treating affliction by jinn, how then are Christians seemingly able to cast them out in the name of Christianity?

Could there be an alternative explanation for these occurrences, or are some of these cases simply tricks, deception, or psychological phenomena?

I would genuinely appreciate a clarification from an Islamic perspective.

Let’s be honest.

Yes, telling him could cost him his job, his friendship and a lot more. But keeping quiet doesn’t make the betrayal disappear.

I blame the man even more than the lady.
