🚨I am deeply concerned about the current situation, and I hope the MSU team can provide a more transparent explanation regarding the purpose of the $NXPC withdrawals.
I really love @MaplestoryU .
It’s probably the crypto game I’ve invested the most time and money into so far.
Honestly, I’ve been more focused on enjoying MapleU rather than making money from it, but seeing many players feeling exhausted recently, I want to share my voice with the team one last time.
1/5🧵
The truth is I’m disappointed at how things were handled at @MaplestoryU.
I am one of the top voices for MSU since very early days. I really want them to succeed. I tried to give my feedbacks, but none were heard.
I can’t help a game that doesn’t want to be helped.

Hello, MSU Team, as the founder of a UN community managing 2,000 Chinese players,
I need to provide you with some feedback on the current issues in MapleStory N.
1、The rampant problem of cheaters. Cheaters do not bring any positive image to the game and instead infringe on the rights of genuine players and investors. Whether you acknowledge it or not, this leads to a loss of value for both players and investors.
2、MapleStory N does not separate hunting maps for advanced players and regular players, resulting in many players being forced to crowd into the same tier of maps for hunting. I believe this is inequitable. It’s like a company where the CEO, managers, and employees are all placed in the same workspace and given the same rewards.
I’m sure you, as a player, would also wonder why investing more time and NXPC yields the same results as others. This is highly unreasonable.
3、Unreasonable equipment enhancement costs. While your intention to adopt a dynamic economy is commendable, is the current situation truly transparent? We’ve repeatedly observed that enhancement costs continue to rise even during periods when no one is enhancing their equipment. High enhancement costs must be paired with sufficient rewards to motivate players to engage in this activity. Otherwise, why would players do it?
4、There is a significant imbalance in the reward distribution for dungeons. You’ve stated that scarcity represents value and that limitations define value. I agree this is a good concept, but your recent changes have drastically increased the drop rate of materials used to exchange for equipment. This has caused the value of most players’ existing equipment to depreciate, while the high enhancement costs deter players from enhancing even with the abundance of dropped equipment.
What you should focus on is effectively preventing an oversupply of high-value equipment and setting reasonable enhancement costs to make them acceptable to players, rather than flooding the game with such equipment. Increasing NESO rewards in Chaos Dungeons and reducing the drop rate of rare equipment would align with your original design, as the high NESO rewards from Chaos Dungeons are enough to incentivize player investment and continuous progression—not by dropping more equipment exchange materials.
5、Open-world maps are being invaded by many cheaters, and even dungeons are now affected. I would prefer stricter measures to effectively ban these cheaters rather than soft penalties.
6、Rewards in open-world maps should follow the principle of "low investment, low回报; high investment, high回报." I believe other MapleStory game servers operate this way, where star levels determine the tier of rewards.
7、Regarding cheater restrictions, I have a suggestion: prohibit players with no star level from engaging in NESO forging, as a player with zero stars is not a genuine player.
8、I hope the MSU Team will truly live up to your stated goal of expanding the IP in web3 and creating a gaming ecosystem that bridges web2 and web3. This requires listening to more feedback from communities and players, rather than blindly conducting experiments.
9、Web3 is a unique ecosystem where everything must be built on value. You claim that "entertainment = value." Well, we’ll see about that. But please avoid emulating failed projects that rely on wave after wave of hype.
10、For those who invest heavily and challenge the highest-difficulty dungeons, don’t you think they do so out of genuine passion? They deserve rewards, which would show other players that their investment and time in MapleStory N yield tangible results.
11、A game can only achieve greater profitability when its player base reaches a substantial size. If we all want to win the future together, we must establish some consensus.
To summarize the collective demands of our players:
We need investment and value to be equitable.
We need cheaters to disappear.
We need the NFT value of our equipment to be preserved.
We need differentiated reward tiers.
We need more communication between the team and players.
We need reasonable enhancement costs.
Thank you for the hard work of the MSU Team, and thank you to all the MSU players.

One of the most serious issues is currently unfolding in @MaplestoryU .
• Top-ranking players are being deliberately disrupted by certain users, especially those from the 91bro guild.
• In the early stages of the game, these players would briefly interfere and run away.
However, as levels increased, this behavior has evolved into intentional and prolonged harassment lasting for hours.
•Members of the 91bro guild appear to be using these tactics to help their own guildmates climb the rankings.
• The highest-level hunting zone, “Dark World Tree: Upper Stem Crossroad”, is now dominated by 91bro users, controlling more than half of it.
• Some of them are even actively chasing other rankers around the map just to interfere with their gameplay.
In a blockchain ecosystem tied to real-world value via the $NXPC token, this isn't just griefing — it's a threat to fair play, economic balance, and trust in the system.
When in-game actions can impact token value and user assets, urgent action from the developers is critical.
