When I comment on farm safety I’m often accused of being a member of the nanny state police or someone who doesn’t understand why farming is ‘just different’. Can every one of us reflect on just 1 thing. We make up 1% of the workforce & suffer 18.5% of all work related fatalities
@Izzyeames1 I’ve been there a few times over the last 20 years and the water shortage has been headlines all the while. It’s an amazing place to visit. The dairy lots were the biggest surprise to me (proper cows not almonds for milking)

@Evsthetractor Sounds virtually the same as my own experience 9 years ago, thankfully only lost a few toes and a lot of movement. A frightening Illness with still not enough awareness of it.
@TBo39515440 Fever, incredibly high temperature (40.9 on admission) constant nausea,chronic joint stiffness and red blotchy skin. The stiff joints and blotches were the last to show.
