@Neilkelly13@ANBorough@roisinlynch1998 I assume that the statement that no rental increase has taken place will be reported at the next council will be corrected at the next council meeting as the statement that no increase has taken place is factually incorrect and must be corrected!
@ANBorough when will you be informing plot holders of proposed increase in yearly cost that have been identified in council minutes. Plot holders need to be advised in advance not just send an invoice in 9 months time @Neilkelly13@roisinlynch1998
@Neilkelly13@ANBorough@roisinlynch1998 Last year two invoices sent out for last year and for previous year first one for £30 and second one for £35 and plot holders were not informed of any increase until invoices were sent out! Minutes state that there has been no increase but beg to differ
@Neilkelly13@ANBorough@roisinlynch1998 Have just checked accounts to confirm above and no plot holder was advised of increase of £5 from 2023 and 2024, incidentally invoice for jan 2023-dec 2023 were forwarded in august 2024 along with invoice for jan 2024-dec 2024 totalling £65 not efficient
Sheer and wanton vandalism at our allotment. What gives people the right to climb over a fence to destroy an asset that was hard fought to obtain for allotmenteers 😡@ANBorough@PSNIANDistrict@AntrimGuardian
First signs of spring at the allotment with sweet pea planted, tulips almost peeking out, daffodils providing some colour in the orchard and the apple trees ready to spring into leaf @JillyDougan@DavidGMaxwell@ANBorough
A visit today from our funder for our new poly tunnel, the Donnelly Foundation. A big thank you to them for this fantastic addition to our site. @JillyDougan@ANBorough@DavidGMaxwell
A bit of work going on at the allotment with half of the orchard planted out with daffodil bulbs and the other half to be planted out with bulbs supplied by @ANBorough This should provide colour from trees and bulbs in spring @JillyDougan@DavidGMaxwell
2022 brought big improvements with the planting of 45 heritage apple, plum and pear trees with the benefits that they bring to the environment and our investment at our allotments has culminated with the polytunnel @JillyDougan@ANBorough@DavidGMaxwell
This was our meeting cabin arriving in 2016 and subsequently @ANBorough provided us with a generator to provide power and a water connection for toilet facilities @JillyDougan@DavidGMaxwell
Today completed six years of hard work with the arrival of our polytunnel funded by the Donnelly foundation. We started with meeting cabin , followed by hedging to screen the fence, a store for our tools and this year a heritage orchard @JillyDougan@DavidGMaxwell@ANBorough
The heritage area of our allotment orchard comprising 25 trees is now complete and we look forward to our trees making good progress this year and becoming a real feature in years to come @JillyDougan@DavidGMaxwell@ANBorough
