@FeelsGuy2003 It’s kind of a fool’s errand to start trying to figure out who’s in Heaven, because the fewness of the saved says most people go to Hell for reasons we don’t know.
@Catholicizm1 Why would anyone care? If we knew how much grace it took to keep every Catholic out of mortal sin, the proper response would be to give these people the world they want, just like God gives us the world we want when we sin. Is she a man? Who cares? What did I do today?
@Catholicizm1 You should try it sometime. It’s way more enjoyable than pretending to give a shit about what someone else has to say, or possibly deal with their bad table manners and/or picky eating habits. “Um, could I get the garlic sauce on the side, but add just a little ketchup?”
@Catholicizm1 I’m 46, but a former punk, skater, hardcore, hip hop kid. I do this all the time, but only because we still don’t believe the internet is real. When people talk to me irl about stuff from the internet, I physically cringe.
@JeffCassman We’re all caught up in today, but what happens when Peter tells Our Lord He can’t be crucified? Is the restricting of the liturgy a type of crucifixion?
@JeffCassman Well, I’ll give you my unwanted answer: as someone who has battled “alcoholism”, or whatever the proper term is for habitual mortal sin, I need something concrete. Not what Fr. Bob prefers on any given Sunday. I need roots that go deeper than my love of alcohol and drugs.
