Is there a word to describe a government that has total disregard for the country’s constitution? #Zimbabwe parliament led by @ZANUPF_Official passes bill to allow President #Mnangagwa to stay in power until 2030 https://t.co/fK4oQMCSdx
What should happen to MPs that wantonly vote to break the law? If the the constitution is law, then voting against the constitution must be criminal? #Zimbabwe@ZANUPF_Official MPs vote to extend #Mnangagwa stay in power. https://t.co/fK4oQMCSdx
@Chofamba This is pathetic. Shame on you and all those who believe in a coalition of haters called CDF. You thought when your leaders created Tshabangu you were fixing chamisa?
When we called for #BoycottCab3Voting we wanted to delegitimize the whole process because the @ParliamentZim is not what people voted for, it was tempered around by Zanupf and Tshabhangu and money had changed hands. Atleast we had 3 MPs who had received 3 GD6 and 50000 dollars, we will approach the court to ask its legitimacy after there was clear bribe during the debate stage @TembaMliswa@ZLHRLawyers@CCCZimbabwe@nelsonchamisa
This is Discent Collins Bajila, CCC MP for the Emakhandeni Luveve constituency. He voted YES to CAB3, against the will of the people who had resoundingly voted NO after he initiated an online poll in his constituency.
Happymore Chidziva wouldn’t have voted NO because of his 2024 case. If he had, tomorrow @PoliceZimbabwe was going to issue a warrant of arrest. Maida kuti adii hake. Voting YES was his passport to freedom. ZanuPF chiwororo!
As correctly predicted, the War Vets matter was struck off on technicalities.
This is not the end, the case can still be taken to the High Court then eventually end up at the Apex court again.
Zimbabwean courts are too predictable.
