We live in an area that looses power quite a bit sometimes for a week and we camp in areas with no cell so it makes sense for us. Standby mode and you can make calls and watch YouTube but you got to turn the quality down and it costs 10 and month. You can do 300 m a month for 80 which includes roaming or unlimited roaming for 175. When we go on trips I just throw it in the windshield of the truck and hook a dewalt battery to it and it’s great.

Your lucky it’s not the black syphilis that was going around Korea in the early 80s, we used to joke “He got the shit you can’t wash off with Clorox”. Secretly though we were all worried about it, some of us started wearing condoms. When the AIDS hit a few years later it was nothing to the Soldiers that had served through the black syphilis in Korea, we knew to wrap that rascal. Was kind of crazy watching the whole country freak out about something we knew how to deal with.
