Why didn't Biden release the files? If Democrats had anything on Trump they could have derailed his political career before he ever had one. The receipts don't exist that's why. But how many foreign politicians are on the list? You all automatically think Trump is guilty and always have and always will.
@allenanalysis Why didn't Biden release the files and doomed Trump's political career then? If they had the receipts they would have used them a long time ago but they haven't because they don't have them.
@TimHannan If that's true why didn't Biden release the files? He could have single-handedly doomed Trump's reelection campaign. They've had almost 10 years to bring the receipts so where are they?
@charlietuna234@allenanalysis Why didn't Biden release the files? If they had anything on Trump they would have played that card a long time ago and doomed his political career. So why haven't they?
@ReclutadoraVic@yoga2love@allenanalysis@grok Why didn't Biden release the files? That would have derailed Trump's reelection campaign. If they had anything on Trump they would be public knowledge by now.
@Amer1can_Barbie Maybe you should tag @elonmusk and @realDonaldTrump to distract them and give them something to agree on again to start with. And thank you for the distraction and pick me up. π
@MichelleMaxwell I agree with both on certain things and disagree with them on other things. And I still support both of them but the public fighting on social media need to go. These are conversations that need to take place in private.
I couldn't agree more. They know that no one or very fee people are going to read an 1100 page bill. This is how bloat is snuck into every bill. I think every single thing should be independent but a 1 or even a 5 page bill would be ok with me. I want to know where all my tax money is going and who's getting it and why they are getting it.
@elonmusk@realDonaldTrump, I only have a few things to say to both of you. The first is to stop the childish tit-for-tat on social media. Second I agree that the bill should be smaller and more focused but if it was up to me and probably 75% of the American voter, each bill would consist of 1 single item at a time even if it take 6 months to go through it. Congress has too many vacation days as it is make them work for a living like the rest of us. This way nothing gets slipped in that is unnecessary. You can both have differences of opinions and still work together 80% of Americans disagree with coworkers at some point if not more get over yourselves already. I deeply admire both of you. And lastly leave space x alone. No one has managed to do what space x has been able to do while doing it cheaper and more efficient. Work it out for the good of the American people and for this great country that we all love. Both of you are better than this.
Who did she harm? Was she armed? Were members of Congress still in the chambers? I'm not excusing what she did but I'm also not excusing the officer responsible for her death. In no way shape or form did she deserve to die for what she did. J6 was a disgrace but it wasn't an insurrection or a takeover it was a protest that turned violent. And the sad thing is I doubt the American people will ever find out the full truth about what happened and who was responsible. And even if all the evidence was released and or recovered and released it will still be Dem vs Rep narrative and points of view.
Lavern Spicer's post criticizes public behavior depicted in a video of a fight in a parking lot, urging a return to dignity and decorum, referencing historical achievements like the construction of pyramids to contrast with current actions.
The mention of pyramids ties into a broader cultural narrative where some attribute their construction to Black Africans, though historical and archaeological evidence suggests they were built by ancient Egyptians, a distinct civilization.
Spicer's call for better public behavior reflects a recurring theme in discussions about community standards and the impact of social media on perceptions of cultural identity, especially in the context of ongoing debates about race, history, and representation.
Abraham Lincoln would be considered a conservative by today's standards. While he was part of the Republican Party, which was a new party at the time, his views on issues like economic policy and social issues aligned more closely with what is now considered conservative thinking.
Here's why:
Economic Views:
Lincoln favored a strong national economy and a protective tariff, which were more consistent with what is now considered conservative economic policy, such as a belief in free markets and limited government intervention.
Social Issues:
While Lincoln was a strong abolitionist, his views on issues like slavery and race were more nuanced than modern liberals. He also believed in the value of the nation's tradition and the importance of preserving the Union, which aligns with conservative views on tradition and national unity.
Role of Government:
Lincoln's actions during the Civil War, like suspending the writ of habeas corpus, were controversial but were seen as necessary to maintain the Union, which is a perspective shared by conservatives who value strong national leadership.
Republican Party:
Lincoln was the first president elected by the Republican Party, a party that was formed to oppose the expansion of slavery, and the party was initially more moderate in its views than modern Republicans.
Therefore, based on his policy views, social outlook, and political affiliations, Abraham Lincoln would be considered a conservative by contemporary standards.
@CoffeeWoodwork @RetroAgent12 Speaking of unqualified loon at Bidens cabinet, it was like a bad joke. And if Trump owed him something, don't you think he'd be in his current cabinet? More delusional talking points.
Democrats have spent the last 8 years demonizing anyone that voted for Trump, they did that without knowing the reason why people voted for him they just said orange man bad, and got outraged when we didn't fall in line. I've never voted party over policy, but they just assumed that I was some right winged, nazi, piece of garbage. Their only policy is anti Trump. I voted for Trump because he was an outsider he wasn't a lifelong politician who's been full of empty promises for 30 or 50 years. I don't like a lot of the things he says or does, but he represents change. We're 37 trillion in debt, losing a lot of ground to China in both economic and military capability, Trump has always supported diplomacy instead of war, is he perfect? No, but think of where he was before he announced that he was running. Everyone loved him, and after they tried to destroy him. It takes a real leader to keep pushing on and getting back up despite the odds against him. Maybe we're wrong for supporting him if so, I'll own that. But maybe you ask yourselves what if you're wrong.
The first article just points out that they weren't as close as some have made them out to be after they battled over a property. The other points out that, like I originally said, he banned Epstein from Mar a Lago after Epstein made a comment about an underage girl. They support each other more than they contradict each other.
Here's a breakdown:
1. Trump's Defense:
Trump and his lawyers argued that lenders were responsible for their own due diligence, including conducting independent appraisals of the properties used as collateral for loans.
Essentially, they contended that banks should have independently verified the valuations presented by the Trump Organization and not solely relied on the company's financial statements.
Trump himself emphasized that disclaimers on the financial statements indicated to lenders they should verify the provided information.
2. Standard Lending Practices:
Lenders typically conduct their own due diligence, including independent property appraisals, to assess the risk associated with a loan.
This ensures they are not solely relying on the borrower's provided information and can independently evaluate the value of the collateral.
However, the extent of this due diligence can vary depending on the size and nature of the loan, as well as the lender's internal policies.
