1.Added "spring-boot-starter-data-jpa" and MySQL driver

2.Setup DB URL, user/pass in "application . properties"

3.Created an Entity + JpaRepository

Both databases now run smoothly side-by-side.

How I created my first REST API in Spring Boot
The first thing I worked on after setting up the project was creating a basic REST API.

I used Spring Boot’s RestController annotation to define my controller class.
Inside it, I created a simple GET endpoint using GetMapping.
