After a 7-1-1 start and a win on stream iβve finished 171th with 8-4-2 with Ho-oh box, had some big missplays during day 2 which cost me 1 or 2 games and a tie but I hope I learned from it haha
Iβve finished 179th with 8-4-2 with Trevenant and friends. The deck is fire, all my losses (except Lopunny) could have been different with some luck and better plays. This list is the best one if you accept Lopunny autolosses fr
I went to some more online tournament with Trevenant and not sure if I will do more before Utrecht so I will do a post about the last results. The results from the last 2 give no reason to be as confident in the deck as I am but under the posts I will give more insight.
I am currently here (up and down), won against some top players and practiced a lot, I am pretty happy with the time I've put in and I feel ready for Utrecht. If I will bomb well I deserve it, I could have learned Dragapult instead lol
I will bring this deck to Utrecht but do I really believe that I can win with it? No. Even if I would be a better player the deck's bricky nature and the lines that high table players can see makes it not likely. But I believe it is capable to do top 32. Will I? Let's hope
- it's just going to gambling a bit with good chances to come out on top in a bo3 environment. It's also great that every deck wants to go first right now and we don't. There are many more positives: 1 prizer, high probability of turn 1 dunks, day 1 people won't know our math
The deck is high variance while you can catch opponents off guard the fact that it has no draw engine generates games that are unplayable. Because of the high rolly nature you only need 2 out of 3 games where you can go off in a regional match.
