Swen Renner has just returned from Mandalay University. Here he focused on the 'needs assessment' workshops, which will take place in Yezin, Mandalay and Myeik in July. 'Needs assessment' includes curriculum, technical training, and equipment needs for the Myanmar universities.
Today, MuEuCAP project coordinator Dr Paul Bates, together with Beatrix Lanzinger of the Harrison Institute (MuEuCAP associate partner) met with the HE U Kyaw Zwar Minn, Myanmar Ambassodor to the United Kingdom to discuss the scope of the project.
Following on from Thingyan, there is currently much activity in the MuEuCAP project, with 5 workshops currently being planned for 2018/19. Detailed discussions took place in Vienna last week with further communication via WhatsApp with Myanmar colleagues.
