@drlouisenewson@balanceMeno My HRT tablets are getting harder to get. My chemist took 1 month of my 3 months supply out of my package as they are like gold dust. I'm lucky upto now but wouldn't want to be in a situation where I can't get them and I have to have a break from HRT. Not ideal ๐
At the @NHMenoSociety conference last month, I mentioned this statistic in one of my presentations and many people in the room were surprised with just how high the percentage is.
When we say menopause, most people think of hot flushes and periods stopping. While they are very common symptoms, they are usually the symptoms that bother my patients the least. It is the symptoms that other people cannot see that usually lead to the most difficulties and these are the psychological symptoms.
Of course, every womanโs experience of her menopause is individual, but feelings of low mood, anxiety and depression are very common and itโs important we keep talking about this because, often, just the understanding that these psychological symptoms could be linked to the menopause is a huge help in itself.

@MakingsOfMRDR hi I'm sat on the 2nd row. Really enjoying it. Can I ask do you think Maxine Carr knew what Ian Huntley had done & helped him clean up. I personally think she's as bad as him.
